Recognized international speaker, author of numerous publications and visiting professor at renowned institutions, such as the University of Padua, in Italy and the Eastman Institute, in England.

Dr. Markus B. Hüerzeler, specialist in Periodontics and Prosthodontics, is professor emeritus at Albert-Ludwigs-Universitat, Germany, where he completed his doctorate. Working in Munich, Germany, with a focus on Periodontics and Implant therapy, he co-founded the Huerzeler/Zuhr Educational Center in 2008. An active member of the European Academy of Dental Aesthetics, he has published more than 150 scientific articles and is co-author of the book “Surgery Periodontal and Implant Aesthetic Plastic” (Zuhr/Hüerzeler).

Graduated in 1988 with a degree in dentistry and was awarded PhD in Medical Biotechnology in 1999 from the university of Bologna, Italy. Full Professor and Dean of the Periodontal Department at the University of Bologna, Italy from 2000.
Received many awards for clinical research in periodontology in Europe and the United States. In 2006 and 2008 is the winner of The AAP Foundation-E Bud Tarrson Research Award in Oral Plastic Surgery. In 2020 awarded Honorary member of the AAP.
From 2020-2022 President of the Italian Academy of Osteointegration (IAO).
Active member of EAED (European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry),SIdP (Italian Society of Periodontology) and IAO (Italian Academy of Osteointegration); member of the European Federation of Periodontology and ITI fellow. Author of 130 publications in Pubmed and author of the books: ‘Mucogingival Esthetic Surgery’ from Quintessence , published in 12 languages and author of the book “Mucogingival esthetic surgery around implants” published in 2022.

Graduated in Dentistry from St. Joseph University – Beirut, Dr. Fouad Khoury is a professor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Muenster, where he specialized in Oral Surgery.
Doctor Khoury is chairman and director of the Privatklinik Schloss Schellenstein, Olsberg-Germany, as well as being a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals. President of the Oral and Jaw Surgery Working Society (AGOKI) of the Scientific German Dental Association (DGZMK) and also of the Examination Board for Oral Surgery. Editor and author of 4 best-seller textbooks translated into more than 10 languages, more than 140 Publications and 1000 Lectures/Courses.
